Along the other awesome surprises unleashed with ChoiRock's latest patch was a bug.
- The new lapises (Phoenix, Hydra, Terra, Storm) are SUPPOSED to have a level31 cap. This is what was requested when we found out we were getting these new lapises and this is what ChoiRock told us they'd do, as well as what they reported in the patch notes that they had done.
- Unfortunately, despite telling us there was a level31 cap, it appears to have incorrectly been set at level30.
This has obvious, negative ramifications on the 20-30 brackets and is the result of a bug. So, what are we going to do?
1) We requested an Emergency patch to get the level set correctly to 31+ (they're gone for the Lunar New Year however);
2) We are explicitly telling everyone, DO NOT APPLY THE NEW LAPISES TO A LEVEL 30 WEAPON;
3) For those of you who already did apply it, we understand it was no fault of your own, but you are inadvertently taking advantage of a bug so:
- Write a ticket linking to this post and asking that the lapis be removed;
- We will remove the lapis and give you a brand new, shiny lapis of the same type for you to use as you wish;
- You have 30 days to turn in a ticket to get this removed from your weapon, after 30 days, we will start deleting weapons that are found/reported to have these new lapis on a level 30 weapon
For anyone affected by #3, we're not blaming you, we realize you had no way of knowing, but we simply can't have people running around ruining the 20-30 bracket because of a sloppy bug on ChoiRock's part.
