Hi guys
My suggestion is to introduce a AP merchant , this will put a sort of price cap on AP so that it can bring the inflation down this is a sort step of introducing a permanent price cap on all item.
But this isn't a permanent price cap the GMs introduce it for 2 weeks so that prices may fall and the community can get a better sense of Gold - AP ratio. The GMs remove it after 2 weeks an then watches if the inflation trend starts up again then introduce the merchant again.
This will benefit the community and AGE in the long run yes they will loose some profit on these items but they will gain profit on other items such as lapisia ect. Below is a example screenshot of a AP merchant.
