King Queen of Aden: The capital city of Aden introduces a new political system in which the crowned Prince/Princess of Aden Castle is King/Queen over the entire kingdom.
As before, tax (accounting) is settled once a day and the tax rate of Aden Castle will be applied to the Shaiya gold merchants who are under the direct control of the castle. Since the town of Aden does not have a chief, the tax rate of the castle will apply to the town as well.
In other towns, the tax rate that is decided by the castle's Prince gets adjusted by the reduction rate set by the mayor in each town. By applying the resulting tax rate, merchandise will be traded and tax will be generated.
Each castle will receive a certain percentage from its own tax revenue, while another percentage of this revenue is delivered to the main castle in Aden.
Aden Castle's income is comprised of the percentages of all other castles as tribute, plus its own income. (The exact percentages of distribution are not available to the players and are subject to change as balance dictates.)
As one might expect, there are advantages to being sovereign over all of Aden.
